This vehicle side awning creates a 53.3 sq ft covered area measuring 8.2 x 6.5 ft beside your car, SUV, truck, or van. The canopy is made from ripstop combed cotton canvas with a PU10000mm water-resistant coating and a UV50+ rating for outdoor exposure. Aluminum frame components support the canopy while keeping the complete assembly at 24.5 lb. The awning mounts directly to compatible roof rack systems using the included brackets, nuts, and bolts.

The retractable frame unfolds from the roof rack to its full 8.2 ft projection and supports a canopy width of 6.5 ft. Adjustable support poles extend from 4 to 7 ft, allowing the setup to match different vehicle heights and campsite layouts. Three open sides provide unobstructed access around the covered space while maintaining airflow and visibility. Winding ropes connect to the support structure to tension the canopy during installation. The layout works well beside campsites, picnic areas, overlanding vehicles, and outdoor cooking setups.
Pack Away for the Next Stop
When the day is over, the awning folds into its compact frame and stores inside the included PVC storage bag. The mounting brackets remain attached to the roof rack, allowing the awning to stay installed between trips. Pole sections collapse from their extended height into a compact storage position within the assembly. Included hardware keeps all installation components together for transport and future setup. The exterior can be cleaned with a soft cloth after use before returning the awning to its storage bag.
