These handheld UHF radios support two-way communication across open areas up to 2 miles. Signal Configuration and Operation

Each transceiver features 50 CTCSS and 105 CDCSS tones to reduce channel overlap. The voice-activated (VOX) mode allows transmission without pressing the talk button, and a built-in light can be used in low-light conditions. Each unit is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, with a full recharge taking about 3–4 hours. The radios operate on the UHF band using analog tuning.

Functional Structure for Daily Use

The compact handheld design uses a knob for quick channel changes. A belt clip allows attachment to clothing or gear, and a lanyard is included for carrying. The set also comes with earpieces for private listening and charging bases for recharging. The radios are resistant to light water exposure during outdoor use.
